Eligibility Requirements
Who is eligible to be presented as a Debutante at the Debutante Ball?
Graduating high school seniors from schools in and around Colorado Springs are invited by the Debutante Ball Committee participate.
How are Colorado Springs Debutantes selected each year?
Debutantes are recommended by community members and reviewed by the Ball’s selection committee. Invitations are extended to young women who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, community service, and strong character. Have a recommendation? Please reach out!
Family Involvement
What role do families play in the Debutante Ball?
The Ball is as much a family celebration as it is an introduction for the Debutantes. Parents, grandparents, and siblings often play meaningful roles in the evening’s traditions and dances. We welcome all who come to celebrate!
Do fathers or escorts participate in the presentation?
Yes! Debutantes are presented by their fathers or another chosen escort during the formal presentation portion of the ball.

When and where is the Debutante Ball?
The 2025 Debutante Ball occurs Monday, December 22, 2025 at The Broadmoor International Center at The Broadmoor Hotel. Invitations have been distributed and we kindly request a reply by November 15, 2025.
What time does the event begin?

Dinner, conversation, and dancing to follow
What is the dress code?
We kindly request formal attire.
